Email Marketing Demo 1 - The Classic
In this demo, we will look at the classic classic customer aquisition workflow. It is standard practice amongst ecommerce websites and applies to both small and large sized businesses. It's a quick and easy starting point to automate your marketing communications.
Once set up, this can be left in the background and fed leads for it to reach out to. With the template for emails set up and your initial engagement conditions set up, all you have to do is vary your engagement parameters such as frequency, messaging and discount levels.
The Workflow
Purpose of this is to develop a series of emails with escalating incentives to tempt non customers to start engaging with your company.
The initial email will be a simple welcome message with an initial welcome discount and single link to tempt the reciepient to start engaging with you (e.g. 10% discount), subsequent emails will increase the amount in discount - if the customer does not engage. Secondary emails can also carry additional links to see what messaging works to engage the customer. Experiment with different marketing messages to resonate with your audience, such as focusing on health benefits, sustainability, or the allure of premium quality.
Data and Automation
Odoo tracks how engaged your audience is by asking questions like "Did they open the email?" "Did they click on the link?" and "Which link did they click on?" With this information, you can determine the appropriate email response to send. You can choose to offer a greater discount, change the messaging, or even cease further emails. After a customer converts, you can categorize them based on the email or link that led to their conversion and ensure that both your Sales and Marketing teams are notified of any necessary follow-up actions.
